Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Amir Taghi was always captivated by fashion from a young age. He draws from his Persian and American background and his interest in culture, arts and the sophisticated women around him to create his rich and refined world.
Taghi presented his inaugural collection at the age of fifteen and continued to design and present made-to-measure pieces since. He went on to study design at Central Saint Martins in London and Parsons School of Design in New York. After returning to New York, Taghi worked at Proenza Schouler, Oscar de la Renta, Monse, and Adam Lippes, collaborating with the world’s most talented designers and couturiers. In 2019 and 2020, Amir was a FGI Rising Star Award Finalist
